Precision’s ΔTaq 2x qPCR Master Mix is a ready to use hot-start qPCR master mix with EvaGreen® and ΔTaq, a hot start Taq polymerase. A 25μM ROX reference dye is supplied separately for use with some real time. The master mix is optimized to work with both fast cycling conditions and regular three step cycling conditions. The master mix is optimized to work with both fast cycling conditions and regular three step cycling conditions. ΔTaq, a chemically modified hot-start Taq DNA polymerase that can be activated in as less as 2 minutes adds extra specificity and is highly suitable for Delta qPCR. ΔTaq is a better hot-start enzyme compared to other commercially available chemically modified hot-start Taq that require 10 mins of activation time. Also, ΔTaq is better compared to antibody-based hot start Taq that have a high risk of contamination from the organism they were produced in. Precision’s ΔTaq™ 2X qPCR Master Mix is a ready-to-use, hot-start master mix containing EvaGreen Dye, dNTP, MgCl2, and ΔTaq™ DNA Polymerase. EvaGreen is dsDNA-binding dye that is non-mutagenic, non-cytotoxic,
impermeable to the cell membrane and safe for aquatic life.
