Description
γ-DNA Polymerase is a high-fidelity thermophilic DNA polymerase from Precision Biosystems. The γ-Taq enzyme contains an integral 3’-5’ proofreading exonuclease activity. γ-Taq is extremely thermostable at temperatures of 95 to 100°C. γ-Taq DNA Polymerase is isolated recombinantly from an E.coli strain that carries the gene from Pyrococcus species GB-D.The native organism was isolated at 2,010 meters and is able to grow at temperatures as high as104°C. γ-Taq is designed to handle difficult templates such as GC and AT rich.
